Never understood all those cooking competition shows. Not as though anyone tries to make the food, right?

Avoid the sewers. There's a few dangerous, erm, homeless people down there.

Leave comments, critiques, praise, whatever you'd like about how I'm playing Rose Tyler! Feel free to speak your mind* as politely (or impolitely) as you choose to, IDC.
Comments are screened.
*but do remember that this version of Rose is from post-canon so if all** you have to say is "omg, but she'd never do something like that in canon" um....yeah.
**Only mentioning this because a friend said it, until she realized, hey people change when years have passed. Who knew XD Оставить комментарий Add to Memories Tell a Friend

You've reached Rose Tyler's cell phone. I'm probably off doing something important, so leave a message!6 comments Оставить комментарий Add to Memories Tell a Friend

You prefer Romantic sex!
You like romantic sex. For you, it's not all too much about being horny - it's more an expression of how you feel about your partner(s). It's an experience that you can share -- that you can experience and enjoy together.

I used to be a, shop girl at Hennriks. I used to live with my mother in a council flat. I used to have a boyfriend named Mickey. I used to be me, used to know who I was. I used to have friends, I used to have a life. I used to run around with the Doctor. I used to be able to figure out what I wanted. I used to be me, used to be able to do what I sought out to do. Then everything changed, just because I let go of a stupid lever.
I used to be Rose Tyler.
Then I died.
Things changed after that. I wasn’t Rose Tyler any longer. Rose Tyler was my dad’s dog. Or, she was my dad’s dog before the cybermen came. After that, she really wasn’t much of anything. I didn’t know who I was after that, what my place was. I still don’t.

She was awakened in the middle of the night again and let out a grunt of frustration as she rolled over and buried her face in her pillow. After all this time you'd think she'd gotten used to his noises at night but they still drove her to the brink when she was trying to sleep.
It's not that he was really that loud, but she was a light sleeper, and woke up at the slighest noises. Sighing, she yawned as she pushed herself up from the bed and padded out into the console room.
There he was, tinkering with the bloody machine again.

She knew she had to take the risk. No matter how small the chance, she knew that she had to try it. Waiting until she was there, it was going to take too long. So what that the machines were only in the testing stages? She’d rather have something awful happen and at least know that she’d tried, as opposed to just waiting another sixty-three years to be able to get to the rift in time and get back. She was withering away, and she wasn’t sure that there would be anything of her left by that point. She knew she had to do it, had to at least make the attempt to get back to her world. Sure, her parents said that the other world was hers now, but she knew it could never be. Not without him there.
So she threw herself into the idea, doing what she could to make sure that it was going to work, and plunging in headfirst at the hope that it would. It was pure luck that she made it through unscathed and she knew it was the last big risk she’d be taking in a while.
Well, until they landed somewhere dangerous, as the TARDIS was likely to make them do.

Rose slipped from her room, a slight bounce in her step as she headed towards the console room. She'd finally gotten her things in order, everything unpacked, and had thrown herself on the bed for a while, thinking about what she'd just done. She'd left everything normal behind, and now all she had left was him.
Upon hearing tinkering, she'd left, and now entered the console room, a slight smile onher face as she leaned against the center console. "So where are we going?" She asked, wrapping her arms around herself.

It took a few days, but Rose had said her goodbyes to her parents, well, her mother and her not!father father, and they understood why she had to do it. They didn't like it, but they understood it. The hardest part for her was telling Mickey. It took her hours of sitting by the phone and picking it up, starting to dial and then hanging up, before she managed to call him. The sound of his voice was nearly enough to break her resolve and stay right where she was.
But she couldn't do it.
So she packed her bags, turned in her resignation at work, and did a short time hop, sixty-three years into the future. She knew the breech had to be in or near Torchwood tower, and took a deep breath, before heading into the building to see if they'd found it.
Luckily for her they had, and even more lucky, it was large enough to pass through.
Stumbling as she landed and landing on the larger of her two bags, she let out a relived laugh as she reached into her pocket for her phone, hitting the speed dial number for the TARDIS and waited.
